Destination Race…The 100km of the Alps

Looking for a European adventure check out THE 100 Km OF THE ALPS.

The countdown until Saturday October 15th has begun. The day in which, at 10:00 AM, from the heart of the 6th district of Turin, the third edition of the 100 Km run of the Alps, from Turin to Saint Vincent will depart.

A route that is nice and speedy despite the two climbs, one towards Alice (50 km) and the one of Monjovetta, near the finish line. The route offers the participants beautiful scenery, the warmth of the people of the 17 communes that will be crossed, each in its respective center, and the typical culinary excellence that can be tasted in each refreshment booth make the 100 Km of the Alps a unique run.

As usual there will be a hospitality package for those who would like to combine the pleasure of participating in the race along with that of spending two or more days before the run in the first capital of the country or Saint Vincent, the capital of the “Riviera of the Alps.” A Turin more splendent this year due to the multiple initiatives taking place to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Italian Unification.

The registration is already available online on the website

www.giroitaliarun.it

Here are more details on the hospitality package:

For those who would like to sojourn comfortably, the night before and/or after the finish we have negotiated a preferential rate in the selected Saint Vincent hotels.

For all who choose this option (including those escorting the participants)

the organization will equally put at disposal a shuttle bus that will follow the subsequent itinerary:

1. Saturday October 15th , leaving at 7:45 AM from Saint Vincent to the starting line.

2. Sunday October 16th , leaving at 14:30 (after the awards ceremony at 11:00 AM) from Saint Vincent going to the starting line as well as the station FS Porta Susa.

The full package that the race offers to all the participants, this year once more, includes a 10 euro coupon to give your luck a shot at our partner, the Casino de la Vallée de Saint Vincent.

The 100 Km run of the Alps is a Bronze label IAU race.
