1/7/2012 – Bandera, TX
The Bandera 100k was the first USATF Ultra Championship of 2012. There was deep competition in both the men’s and women’s fields, but only one male and female could take top honors. This year it was Timothy Olson taking the men’s title in 8:28:38 over Dave Mackey in 8:38:28. On the women’s side, Cassie Scallon backed up her win at the 2011 JFK, running a 9:40:18, 16+ minutes over Liza Howard (9:56:27).
